Troubleshooting

Mit den folgenden Hinweisen konnten die meisten Probleme beim Einsatz der App gelöst werden.

General

First, ensure that the latest version of the app is installed: https://store.shopware.com/en/bst5753893849308m/instagram-shopping-automatic-facebook-catalog-feed.html

Data feed is not retrievable or not generated

Clear Cache

Go to Settings > System > Caches & Indices and click the Clear Caches button.

If the issue persists, there may be another problem.

Use Chrome DevTools

While in the Shopware backend, press Ctrl + Shift + I to open Chrome DevTools. Switch to the 'Network' tab. Click the Generate Data Feed Now button in the app settings, and check the output in the Network tab. If you see a red status code 500, there might be a fatal error. In this case, please check your server's PHP error log.

Prices are displayed incorrectly on Facebook

Check the currency settings 'Select Default Currency' in the Datafeed settings on Facebook. It should match your shop currency, which is usually EUR - Euro.

Data feed contains no data despite correct configuration

You may be using multiple sales channels in your Shopware instance. In this case, the app is, by default, enabled for each sales channel and considered during export.

If the app is not configured for individual sales channels, and the same path and filename are used, the feed file will be overwritten for each sales channel.

Please disable the app for the channels that should not be processed via Settings > Enabled (NO) and assign a unique filename for each sales channel, e.g., instagram_shop1, instagram_shop2, ...
